Welcome to First Call Heating Ltd
At First Call Heating Ltd, we like to put our customers first. Established in 1993, our aim is to provide our customers with a service that results in 100% satisfaction at competitive rates. Being a family business means we offer a great personal service and our suppliers are selected for their reputed quality and dedication to high standards of efficiency and service.
As a company built on fully qualified staff, we find it essential to keep up and exceed industry standards and so we are members of Gas Safe (& Corgi) and the CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineers) but most importantly we are Accredited Installers for Worcester. We also happen to be specialists in central heating systems, boilers and all other gas appliances including combination boilers and LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas).
Our main services include:
We are also keen to promote heat from renewable sources i.e. Solar panels. We have fitted many solar panels to properties around the region giving hot water without the use of a boiler in the summer months.
First Call Heating Ltd also offer a fantastic "Same Day" call out service and guaranteed repairs. We can guarantee boiler installations for 7 years subject to yearly servicing at normal rates.
We have recently received a technical bulletin from Gas Safe Register, listing a number of models of boilers that have been found to contain varying amounts of asbestos depending on the make and model of the boiler. These levels are considered to be extremely low but still present.
As a result of this bulletin, we have taken it upon ourselves to examine our customer records in order to compile a list of customers - past and existing - who potentially have a boiler containing Asbestos Contained Materials (ACMs) and write to them informing them that their boiler has appeared on this list. We as employers have to consider these boilers may put our engineers in a position where at some point in the future they may have to refuse to carry out work on the appliance in question.
We would like to strongly emphasise that this letter has not been put into circulation as a part of a marketing scheme or in order to frighten our customers into buying a new boiler - this is simply not our intention. Our priority is keeping our engineers safe and simply trying to make our customers aware that this may cause a problem in the future.
We know all too well that this news is highly unlikely to be received kindly, however we are here to answer any questions that come our way and we fully appreciate that in many cases our records aren't entirely up to date. Should this be the case, please give our showroom a call or email us and we'll update the details we have and you may freely ignore the letter!
Since the letters have been posted, we have received both positive and negative feedback from those who received one, with many asking us to clarify whether their boiler is definitely on the list which we are all more than happy to do as it helps us to update our records also.
